The SMARTenergy gateway is designed for industrial use and acts as a central energy node within the distribution cabinet. It transmits all energy data wirelessly from the cabinet, completely eliminating the need for local IT infrastructure. Multiple gateways and distribution cabinets automatically connect to form a mesh network throughout the building – with no additional configuration required. The device provides connections for up to three current transformer sensors, can be flexibly expanded with additional SMARTsens energy sensors, and integrates BLE sensors such as temperature, humidity, or occupancy sensors via wireless. Existing energy meters can be integrated regardless of the manufacturer using interfaces such as M-Bus, Modbus, S0, or D0. The autodetect function automatically recognizes all connected sensors – both wired and wireless.
