The SMARTsens energysensor AC allows for the connection of up to 3 current transformer sensors. The current transformers are available from 20 A to 800 A with accuracy class 1. It records energy consumption in kWh, active power, and load profiles in W. The sensor stands out for its simplicity: no configuration is necessary; the current clamps are simply plugged in at the desired size, e.g., 800 A. The SMARTenergy sensor does not require phase differentiation (L1/L2/L3). It is sufficient to connect the sensors to the SMARTenergy gateway in any order using a network cable. The size and number of split-core transformers, as well as the number of installed SMARTenergy sensors, are automatically detected via the SMARTenergy gateway autodetect function.
