The SMARTsens IOnode is an intelligent, mesh-capable sensor and an expansion for the IoT Energy Monitor base package that records volume data from water, gas, heat, and cooling meters. Additionally, the sensor allows for the connection of an alarm contact and a 4...20 mA process sensor. Sensors can be connected directly via the internal terminal block. With a wide range of non-invasive sensors available for all types of energy meters, energy data can be collected wirelessly. Mesh technology allows the sensor to be installed even in areas with poor signal reception, such as heavily reinforced basements or outdoor environments.
